Refund policy

This policy applies to fees invoiced by Cloudeventgrid for teaching seats. This website does not take payment. Refunds are handled by the Bangkok desk after a written request.

Eligibility

You may request a refund if you cancel a confirmed seat within the timeframes below, or if Cloudeventgrid cancels a programme and cannot offer a comparable date. Eligibility assumes the invoice was paid and the request comes from the payer or an authorised colleague. Complimentary guest-reader passes are not eligible.

Timeframe

For Signal Bench, Pulse Seat, and Adoption Atelier: a full refund is available if we receive the request at least 14 full days before the published start date. Between 13 days and 48 hours before start, a partial refund of 50% of fees paid may be available. Within 48 hours of start, and after the first live session has begun, fees are not refundable except where Thai consumer law requires otherwise or where Cloudeventgrid is at fault (for example we cancel and cannot reschedule).

Reading Room (archive access) may be refunded in full within 7 days of invoice payment if downloadable materials have not been accessed. After access or after 7 days, Reading Room is non-refundable.

Full versus partial refund

Full refund means the programme fee actually paid, excluding bank transfer charges you incurred. Partial refund means 50% of that fee. If a multi-seat invoice mixed refundable and non-refundable items, we calculate line by line.

Non-refundable items

Travel, hotels, and visas are never refunded by Cloudeventgrid. On-site travel surcharges already incurred for an Adoption Atelier visit outside Bangkok are non-refundable once tickets or local vendors are booked, unless we cancelled the visit. Printed materials already produced for a private cohort are non-refundable.

Refund process

Write to info@cloudeventgrid.digital with the subject “Refund request”, the invoice number, seat names, and reason. You may also call 27380476. We acknowledge within two working days and confirm the calculation in writing. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible.

Processing time and method

Once approved, expect 10–15 working days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank. Thai baht bank transfers inside Thailand are typical. International wires may take longer and may incur intermediary fees we cannot absorb. We do not refund in cash at the Lat Krabang studio.

Cancellation by you or by us

You cancel by the email process above. We may cancel or postpone a public bench if fewer than four paying seats are confirmed 10 days before start; in that case you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a later date. If we postpone and the new dates do not work, you receive a full refund.

Exceptions

Serious illness, with documentation, may be considered for a transfer even inside the 48-hour window; it is not an automatic cash refund. No-shows without notice are not refunded. If we reasonably determine that a participant was never eligible (for example they did not meet the stated SQL prerequisite after a clear warning), we may offer a transfer to Reading Room rather than a cash refund. Statutory rights under Thai law are not limited by this paragraph.
